Request for 2007 Convention Bids

The Libertarian Party of California is seeking bids for the state party convention to be held in the first part of 2007. If you are interested in organizing and managing a political convention, please contact State Chair Aaron Starr at starrcpa@pacbell.net for more information and to arrange to submit your proposal. You must have the necessary knowledge, experience, and skills to put on a convention, and you must be capable and willing to assume the financial risks involved. Of course you will also be able to reap any financial rewards. Bids for locations closer to northern California than southern California will be heavily favored. The LPC Executive Committee will be considering various alternatives at its May 6th meeting in San Jose, and will attempt to select a location and convention contractor as soon as possible so as to provide maximum lead time.
